Why "BaldEra"?
It all began with one extraordinary cat – our very first Peterbald, Era, who joined our home in 2007. She became not only a beloved family member but also the founder of the BaldEra cattery. Since Era was completely hairless (bald cat) and her name was Era, our cattery’s name – BaldEra – was born.
From that single cat grew a beautiful journey: what started as love for one cat has become one of the largest and strongest catteries in the Baltics.
Our mission is to breed healthy, standard-compliant, socialized, and people-friendly kittens. We actively participate in international cat shows, where our cats have earned numerous titles, including World Champions and Premiors. BaldEra cats thrive in WCF, FIFE, and TICA systems alike.
This journey goes beyond breeding. Together with like-minded colleagues, we founded the International Feline Association "Alpha Catum" and am a licensed International cat judge. It all started with a small miracle – our first cat, Era, who ignited a lifelong passion for Oriental cats and inspired this path.
